Lopar is a picturesque tourist town 14 km away from the old town of Rab. The prehistoric site at its promontory Zidine, the Liburnian castle ruin and the numerous tumuli on this peninsula are not only witness of its early population but also of the importance of this part of the island in the distant past. Lopar, for example, is the birth place of Saint Marinus, stonemason and founder of the Republic of San Marino.
The place is surrounded by numerous bays and sand beaches, making all the wishes of guests come true concerning sunbathing, swimming and relaxation. The best and widely known beach in Lopar is the natural beach Crnika - Rajska plaza (paradise beach), over 1500 m in length, where the hotel premises and the camping site «San Marino» are situated.
Furthermore, Lopar is famous for a natural phenomenon – the underwater cave «Medova buža», actually the habitat of the Mediterranean monk seals, where weddings are organized for sensation-happy people.
Our accommodations (apartments and rooms) are situated in a quiet part of Lopar, surrounded by nature. Our guests can enjoy the view onto the channel between the mainland and Rab. Nearby the apartments, apart from the sand beaches mentioned above, you will find beautiful sea promenades, sport possibilities, night clubs, shops, an ambulance, a lot of restaurants, some of which offering authentic local cuisine, etc. The nearest beach is only 5 minutes away by foot.
Welcome !!!
